Early in the morning, a cheetah mysteriously disappears from the local zoo. Kolchak begins his day tracking down a ticket to the first game of the first World Series with the Cubs in years from new sports editor Updyke, but then gets sidetracked investigating the mysterious disappearances of animals from the Lincoln Park Zoo.
