On March 3, Doug Carlin and the Snow White team are successful in their attempt to send a note back in time, but Doug is gone by the time it arrives, and his partner Larry follows up on the lead instead on the morning of February 27. When the bomber travels out of range, Doug follows him with a mobile rig to the remains of his property.
