Middleton
Setting. Rural town where Buster Casey is born with the senses of smell and taste far more advanced than other humans. He goes on to acquire the nickname Rant from a childhood prank involving animal organs which results in numerous people becoming ill. The sound of the victims vomiting resembles the word rant, which becomes a local synonym for vomit and therefore Buster's nickname.
