February 10 Rachel's aunt Lori marries and dies, year not mentioned, as listed on her Certificate of Death that Nell and Rachel find while searching town records for any of Rachel's ancestors that might have survived the curse. Nell: But the curse spreads if you don't get married? Rachel: Only if you've accepted a proposal. Otherwise, it has no one to spread to. I guess these people, all of them, must have known about the curse and just decided to avoid marriage. Like my grandmother Audrey. She had my mom out of wedlock, right, so she obviously knew not to get engaged. But her sister, Lori, wed February 10th and died February 10th. Comments:
