Val Verde
Central American country often used by Steven E. de Souza, who has said that's where the movie Predator takes place in Val Verde, but this is up for debate. In the 2010 movie Predators, Isabelle states that the events of the original film took place in Guatemala, though part of the film's first act takes place in another unnamed country. The Predator novelization by Paul Monette also places the events in Guatemala, while Mark Verheiden's comics for Dark Horse specify Colombia.
