Detective Terry Seattle and new trainee Jason Bateman are tasked with providing security for a Santa meet and greet at City Hall. Upon their arrival, quarterback Johnny Blaze is murdered in his Santa suit. Terry and Jason have to solve the murder by morning in order to be able to delivery gifts to the children at the City Orphanage.
