Afterward, everyone sees PJ's body impaled on a tractor smokestack instead of the mattresses that were supposed to break his fall.       2006 - 20 years ago 7 July 1, 2006 21st Century: 00s Events July 1, 2006 One year after P.J.'s death - Amber's friend that died accidentally during her and her friends' July 4 prank at the carnival. Amber visits P.J.'s grave. Amber and Colby break up at a barn party. Amber gets mysterious texts claiming "I know what you did last summer".     8 July 2, 2006 21st Century: 00s Events July 2, 2006 Amber and her friends discuss the mysterious text she received. Colby gets a message of his own at the swimming pool where he works as a lifeguard. The Fisherman attacks Amber but she escapes. Roger isn't so lucky.       9 July 3, 2006 21st Century: 00s Events July 3, 2006 Amber, Zoe and Colby visit PJ's cousin Lance. The friends decide they think it's the sheriff stalking them, so they leave him a mysterious note of their own. Later, Colby is attacked, but survives.     10 July 4, 2006 21st Century: 00s Events July 4, 2006 Amber and her friends attend the annual 4th of July carnival to support Zoe and her band. The Fisherman is revealed to be the undead Ben Willis, the man who committed the original murders. Ben kills Zoe, then Colby. Amber fights Ben, stabs him in the head and pushes him into a thresher, killing him.       Year Unknown 11 July 1 No Year Events July 1 According to legend, the day that the Fisherman goes on killing sprees. Colby and Amber try to scare their friends on the ferris wheel at the carnival. Colby: The Fisherman. Every 4th of July, he gets out his hat and slicker, he sharpens up his hook, and runs wild. Amber: But only after teenagers. Colby: That's right, the ones with dirty little secrets.
