Felicium
Plant native to the planet Brekka, as well as of the narcotic drug extracted from it. Originally developed as a medication, felicium ended the spread of a plague that existed on Brekka's neighboring planet, Ornara. It was made by a complex and expensive process, including the harvesting and cultivation of the originating plant, and its distillation into the final product.
Comments:- Data: Beginning several thousand years ago, the two worlds took different paths. Ornara became technologically sophisticated, Brekka did not. Then two hundred years ago, Ornara was stricken by a devastating plague... Somehow, and there is limited information on this point, the cure was found in a plant indigenous to only Brekka, and which resisted all attempts at cultivation on Ornara.
