George Wells ventures into the future in his time machine. As he goes along, gaining experience in handling the machine, he finds that he can stop for a day, an hour, or even a second to observe. When he gets to June 1900, he makes stops daily from June 3rd through June 14th. Thus, he's able to see the changing world in a series of glimpses, including the different dresses worn by the mannequin in the department store across the street. |
